From Scooby Doo to Doctor Who, there's nothing better than a good mystery.
Throw in a werewolf, a strange, unidentified beast or an energetic force that no one can see but everyone can feel, and you've got a story so good that not even a bus load of teenagers and a talking dog can mess it up.
Often the tale itself is remarkable, unbelievable even. But what makes these stories truly fascinating is the small glimmer of truth that sits behind the tale, or the insight offered into the human psyche.
Behind every unexplained phenomenon is a deeper story - about fear, belief, memory, power. I write about the unexplained not to sensationalise, but to explore: What really happened? Why do we believe it? And what does it say about us?
I approach the unexplained the same way I approach any other story - with research, empathy, and a focus on what the story reveals about people.
